Bright-line™ (HVBN)

Coupled with our patented hand-held piezoelectric transducer, the Bright-line™ core biopsy needle provides unrivalled visualisation during ultrasound guidance in colour Doppler or Power mode. Even at challenging angles and deep tissue locations, clinicians and patients alike can benefit from increased accuracy and safety during ultrasound-guided core needle biopsy procedures.

The HyPerfuse Needle™ revolutionary drug delivery technology means therapeutic anti-cancer treatments can be injected intratumourally, with perfusion and deposition rates never seen before. Active Needle Technology has demonstrated statistically and clinically significant improvements in intratumoural drug perfusion and deposition rates, and this effect has been replicated in pre-clinical studies in tumour bearing murine models, working with practising oncologists in association with a UK university. 9

A recent UK pre-clinical study confirmed that oncolytic drug delivery with our HyPerfuse Needle™ intratumoural delivery device resulted in vastly superior rates of cancer cell death when compared to the same drug using a standard needle.9

Tranquill®

Our proprietary technology allows Tranquill® to offer the patient a uniquely low pain medical or cosmetic tattooing experience. By utilising Active Needle’s ultrasonic platform, patients can benefit from significantly less trauma to their skin during tattooing, improving the immediate post-procedure appearance and expediting the healing process.
